I'm talking about the natural beauty of the pieces Daniel.. I could care less what they "flip" or "resell" for .. but I suppose the fact that there is such a healthy "marketplace" for Pateks, speaks to the near universal acceptance that these are things of beauty and desirability ... and I'm fine with that, speculators and all.
I think if you stopped focussing on the mechanical minutia and removed your loop to enjoy these watches at their face value.. perhaps you'd rediscover some of the magic that compelled me to write what I did.

With all due respect I have an observation to make to your post. In my experience, modern Patek Philippe watches are not provided the most dependable movements, very much to the contrary, and all too often their after-sales service is perfectly nefarious....

do you things will change at patek wiyhout henri. also with the increase in gold, will they chance the gold bracelets. i do think that the 5146 j is a great watch it is beautiful and practical. what are your thoughts? thanks
