Saw these at an auction viewing and I was...
...blown away by the excellent enamel dial !
Previously I knew about the Chinese Zodiac series which ended in 2013 with Year of the Snake and saw some enamel pieces. Motifs for monkey, ox, dog, dragon and horse did not sing to me but the tiger did the trick.
The details and color gradations really amazed me.
What are your thoughts on these pieces ?

Agree, dome clocks are wonderful pieces of art but I prefer (wrist)watches too, which combine art and mechanics at their finest (plus, you can wear them! :-)
