Some more thoughts ...
Patek is possibly creating more variants of its base movement (a considerable part ist still the chrono movement) in order to exploit it furher.
Nothing wrong with that, but a 1/10th chrono is associated with a sporty brand, that Patek is not.
Maybe it is another transformation piece to this sporty/young image but still I find this watch not as "groundbraking" to justify the price for it or its position in the line up.

Not really a successor to the 5370 since it’s not a Rattrapante, more another complication option.
Today i'd be running to FPJ to reserve theirs. The best finishing work in the industry imho.
Alas, I missed out on the just-released Czapek split-second, that is a truly amazing timepiece!

Though Blue is Beautiful and contemporary. Personally Black and White or Salmon 😍would be my preference. For Professor I would modify the blue into something eclectic yet definable , perhaps panda style of Amalfi - Turqoise?
It will go well for people who wear Kiton clothing.
Kiton clothing often has red accents. This watch has so many red accents!
My favorite pants...
Wool flannel pants! If you haven't discovered them yet, they're lovely. But you've probably been aware of them much longer than I have been! Mine are in a five pocket layout and I sleep in them on the airplane!

Gotta balance things out sometimes! But I have to stop buying pants really. I've got eight or so Kiton pants, some of which I haven't worn in two years! Another two Pescarolo pants that I've never worn ever. And probably a few more underutilized pants!

I got too fat during covid, but I noticed a lot of very good deals on Kiton, Isaia, Attolini, etc... ever since COVID kicked off.

Yes! Lots of good clothing deals! If I gain too much weight, I won't ever fit into those pants that I've never even worn once! The trainer beat me into submission today. But core exercises doesn't really reduce weight... Gotta exercise more and eat less! ...
Next time you go to the store...
The next time you go to the store, pay attention to the buttonholes. You'll see they're individually made and hand stitched. Each buttonhole takes around 4-5 minutes for a professional to complete! The ISAIA shirts really are quite special!

And yes, I always pay my credit card in full. But I tell people to get mortgages and auto loans since the rates are low and the economic inflation is high, so they're likely going to repay with inflated money later.

My fanciest credit card was made out of solid metal. It weighed 28 grams! Made a big clang if you dropped it on the floor. Unfortunately, the card recently expired and they mailed me a plastic replacement! That's not very fun!

It's interesting. 4% as a referral bonus. Hmm. Interesting!
Yep, but the thing I like the most is the large credit limit (they claim to look at income much more than credit scores, and they'll make you a precise offer with a soft pull only, which is great ;-)
The issue with the partners is you'll have to pay off the *entire* charge with points, and so you might have trust to leave many points in there ;-) But redeemed as cash back is 0.7%, which makes it effectively a 2.1% cash back card if you charge on it $1...
Fidelity is already 2% and no minimum spend required.
This card is cool, but kind of complex.
That's right, though I don't have a Fidelity card (I occasionally open and close their Cash Management account but never got a bonus offer yet...). The best flat cash back card for me, if we don't consider some of the geofenced, is probably SoFi...
All free (including no FTFs which is always my first requirement! ;-)) and now it's also become a real bank, with some excellent savings and checking accounts at 1.25%.... Hope it's sustainable, but they are backed by some great investors so it might be! ...

I suppose you get 2% if the online merchant takes Apple Pay?
I wouldn't think you can use Apple Pay online, the way it's meant to be is in person by tapping on your phone... Apple card will in fact give you an actual card number to use otherwise.
I can see they say this explicitly in the app, "Use this card number online, over the phone, and anywhere Apple Pay is not available"....so it looks like it's always a 1% online ;-)
