So now that it appears 5970 production has stopped, does anyone have a clue about the actual production numbers, number of pieces produced? Anonymous insider tips and second hand hearsay would be most welcome here I understand the Patek 5970 (2004-2008) p...

Hi, Our grand grand children may know perhaps someday. I have no idea of the figure but I would say much more than we can imagine probably. Cheers Dje

The 5970 was announced at Basel 2004, but from what I can tell (using forums such as these), 5970s were not available for purchase until late 2004. (If anyone can contradict this please do so!). PP's price lists released in early January 2008 deleted refe...
