It is my dream to own the Ellipse. However, since they do not come with see through case backs, I will have to make one.....and I will 
This of course would be VERY complex with the lugs welded to the lower half of the case, which are on these two models (3738 / 5738). Because of that, it looks like my target model to acquire will be "3605-J Jumbo" (nice, larger size but still a hair smaller vs. the current 5738) where the case back is very much *traditional* and will be MUCH easier to reproduce. The caliber 28-255C is beautiful, super thin, very iconic and it will be a pleasere to be able to see it. (Same caliber as found in Nautilus 3700).
Question for 3738 and 5758 owners....

Oh, now I understand the reason of your question and your exact intent.
Already did 6 of them that were LOT more complex. It should be relatively easy for 3605.
Thank you. I just think that it is a shame that we cannot see the beautiful movements of some of these older watches
