it's a common problem with Patek, at least from what I know - what u see is the blue discolouring the hands -- the lubrication travelled up the pinion from the movement. the solution is to get the hands changed - but I know at least one instance when the ... 

I had the same doubt about the hands. It makes me wonder why any watch can be perfect.
