I enjoyed when you wrote about your visit to Patek Philippe Salons.

I visited there just in the end of March and bought a strap for my 5196P. When I went to an AD to get it assembled, they told me that the other part of the strap is right and the other is too small. So  the strap was a combination of two straps of different sizes.

I wrote to the shop on 4th April, sent the strap back as well as a purchase receipt. The reverted and promised to send me a new strap. The delivery time for the ones not in the shop is 8 weeks. Yesterday I wrote to this Patek's own Salon an unfriendly letter. Over 21 weeks have passed and I herd nothing from them. I ordered a new strap from Patek's Geneva Salons when the strap from London did not arrive in 8 weeks. I got that strap and many others already even I ordered now the straps with custom length.

According to my experience the service in Patek Philippe's Salons both in Geneva and Paris is outstanding. The sales staff is always polite, very friendly and they have all the time needed.

In London they are arrogant and do not even perform in an acceptable way. But I'm probably not the type of client they want to have: I have only 10 Patek watches and my wife is even worse with her two Pateks!

We will vist the Geneva Salons next time 10th September and I look forward to our visit and meeting our charming and very friendly contact there. To London I travel often in business but will pass the Salons by just adding speed and not looking aside.
