The event was great and speaking with the Artisans was fantastic. Camille, who does the cloisonné ~ that was mind boggling. And freehanding the guilloché ~ another craft that commands finely tuned dexterity. When I asked about the technique, the gentleman asked to see my 5111. He looked through his loupe and was delighted to see my piece. i don't really understand French but he said something along the lines of fantastic and gave it a thumbs up. LOL

I took a pix as some men tore down the event. I believe it was Tuesday evening. Sad to see it go but go it must. We left on Thursday the 27th and still a lot of tearing down was going on.

Wish I could've made the GTG on the 15th.
