i was yust offered a DISCOUNT on a pp 51461j by an ad. it amazes that this piece can be dicounted that much, is this right. i wonder if patek knows. the discount was from retail value. what are your thuoghts is this because of the economy? This message ha...

Well... I believe that different people have different defintion of the quantifiying adjustives (e.g. large, small, a lot, huge, etc...) For someone who entered the market recently, they may consider 5% is huge as almost *everything* from PP should be sel... 

the ref 5980 is so expensive even in stainless steel, i wonder what make it so expensive in comparison to other complicated models like the 5146 is it because they make less of them? thanks jg
