... I must say that Patek was among my personal highlights at this fair. However, this might have to do that it had been my first "close encounter" with Patek as well. Of course, I was loosely informed about the program and the various references, without, of course, immediately knowing which watch is talked about when only a four-digit number is thrown into the circle. But Patek Philippe has succeeded in developing an aura of horological holiness, like no other company in haute horologie managed to do. Even with a long experience with high-end timepieces, it is something special to handle Pateks. Just like only a Ferrari is a Ferrari, even if there are other supercars that may be equally good, but they ain't Ferraris ...
