I confess that I'm hoping for a contemporary automatic calibre that could compete with calibres like the 12-600AT! FP Journe has a nice offering but not yet to that level IMO! The VC in-house auto calibre is very nice too, but falls short technically IMO. PP, GP or AP have nice calibres, but not to that level either! I don't see others to compete?
Don't you think that it could be time for PP to produce a more upscale auto calibre, even if it's not for all the range of Calatrava auto watches but at least for some upscale models?

It must have been tough to decide which movements to include in your write-up as many fine and innovative movements were developed during that period. I agree with your selection, but it will be interesting to see what additions are proposed by others.
