Patek Philippe

Thanks for all the responses

I really, really like the 5164, and especially the concept of it— a luxury sport travel/time zone watch suitable for tropical lifestyle. Honestly, it would suit my needs/lifestyle perfectly. BUT if there are issues swimming with it (or even a fear or reluctance) it then it defeats a major purpose of having it and becomes more of a poser item.

Hence, I would love to know if anyone, including Patek, has tested its true and practical water resistance (including if the pushers are pressed accidentally).

A similar issue is a huge complaint I have with the Vacheron Oversea— another luxury sport watch presumable designed for travel adventures and water activities (screw down pushers, the name “Overseas”) yet was a minimal water resistance because there is no screw down case back.

As an aside, from I’d love to hear some ideas about a luxury, sport travel/time zone watch that is totally fine in the water, other than Rolex. Perhaps this is why the Rolex GMT has been so successful? Love to here ideas/suggestions.
