The 5270 is very nice, very balanced more "masculine" than the 5970. and the caliber is fantastic. Like the 5970G, the dark indexes gives a very modern touch I love.

Like you the one which definitely excites me the most is this perpetual calendar with hobnail bezel.
This detail is a part of Patek design DNA like the perpetual calendar for complication.

I always dislike 'outside dates' BUT
To me, this watch is maybe the most beautiful Patek in years and years... at ANY price. And I repeat, I normally feel a great aversion to the outside date... but this watch, in this metal... WHEW! Stunner. And a great old classic Patek movement. Verrrry n...

Great post and pics! Have to say, the 5101and 6000 didn't strike my fancy at all at first glance, but they're certainly really growing on me now. Still, my grail piece is the 5960P. One day....
