Beautiful, I love it! I'm a casual clothes person so I think this could be a one and done watch for me.
I also asked for this right after launch but I'm still waiting. Hopefully not much longer... I still want it as much now as I did during launch so at least I know I really like it.

It's very versatile, slightly more dressy on the black strap, but on casual clothes it works wonderfully. I wish you the best luck with the allocation, I think it should be feasible these days 🙌🏻

So no experience really with the 5226. I did order it, but at the time of the allocation I had other projects, so I ended up passing.
I think I would wear the dark one more often as well, but very cool on this one for more casual occasions
I would order a second buckle to take advantage of the flexibility with the easy strap release system.
I love the Patek travel time complication. Whether here or 5524 or 5164.
This dial in this one is crazy. I had a chance to try it on at Tiffany when it first came out.
