The group is limited to four watches, so simply adding a 5270 is not an option for now. Your question, "why get more use?" is a fair one. Perhaps it wouldn't get any more use. But it might be a more modern, robust watch so I'd be less concerned about wearing it on a frequent basis. In all likelihood, it would get the same amount of use. Perhaps a different factor is having two watches based on the modern Patek movement and two based on the Lemania movement. (As it stands now, it is three Lemania-based models.) But if the current four are more desirable, then no need to mix it up further. Bob

3970 all day everyday... 5270 is too big and bloated in my humble opinion. Nothing will beat the refined elegance of the 3970 (well maybe a 2499! lol).

Ah, I see!!! You also have the 5004? So, in this case, the 5270 is a reference to get to complete the collection. But it is my less favorite among these 4.
I prefer the case of the 5970 and the dial, too. I am not very fan of these 2 holes on each side of the date moon phase sub dial. But it is just me!

Keep the 3970. It sits much better in your collection.
Wear it as much as you can and enjoy it. Even take it for a swim š Miles.
