Hello! This is a brief follow up on my thread from April . I had been doing a lot of internal debating prior to April, and have done even more internal debating since then. I tend to obsess about things, and this decision has honestly been rather difficul...

not a negative. You get both the date and the very practical 24 hour function. For me not a whole lot of difference, from a practical standpoint, between a perpetual and an annual calendar. Plus you get a sweep seconds, unlike some perpetuals which have n... 

So, about the 24 hour subdial - it is only that the subdial is cut off at the 24 and located a bit too close to the center of the dial. But I may just be a lunatic.

Let me also congratulate you on deciding to purchase this watch from an AD -- especially since this is your first Patek, on top of the good reasons you mentioned, I'm sure it will feel great to enjoy the full "Patek experience" that only an authorized ret...  

Been a big fan of my AD, but I insisted on speaking with the manager / co-owner of the store, and it has completely changed my experience. He was very nice to deal with, and I can see myself having a good relationship. Very pleased I have gone this route....
