Frankly I did not understand some of the responses above regarding how difficult it is to set the 5970 if it has wound down for a while. As later responses pointed out, it is an easy process given the pusher that forwards all functions by one day. if the watch has wound down for a few weeks, no problem.
Interesting regarding the Vacheron. With the same movement, I assumed there was a similar single pusher for all the functions. Did not realize that the moon is separate.
