The 3460 Amagnetic would only exist in yellow gold
According to Goldberger, there is no 3460 in steel.
The 3460 Amagnetic is featured in Huber & Banbery, Patrizzi and Reardon (with a mistake on the diameter by the way), each time in yellow gold. The book from Michael Mehltretter that is specifically dedicated to time only watches does not even mention it. The 3460 is also featured on the website of the Patek Philippe Museum. I scanned the Antiquorum, Sotheby's and Christie's databases and could not find any trace of this watch except quotes in lot notes of sales associated to other Amagnetic watches (usually the sales of the well known 3417 reference). I am starting wondering whether that watch would be just a one off but I have no evidence to support this assertion.
Maybe mstanga who studied the 3417 Amagenetic in detail might provide an answer.

I have mixed up my files and I friend of mine immediately spotted my mistake. The picture illustrating the 570 reference is actually a 530. Here is a right picture. A steel case with a rose gold bezel. ...
