I think the 5960P is a fantastic watch for business formal and resort casual events...
The gray dial variant is also very good because it looks good with a navy blue strap (when worn with jeans), the brown strap (when worn with khakis), and even a black strap (for the boardroom).

5960P with the blue dial. The watch works with a suit and dressed down with jeans and loafers. I have a small collection of AP, Richard Mille and Patek, and the 5960 gets 10 x more compliments than all the other watches! Best, Richard

I'd choose my 5165. It can go business (Soros wears this) or sport. It's also light and comfortable.

Was a 5035RG for many years, works with virtually everything except bathing suit. Nowadays the 3970 fills the bill.

I would strongly suggest nautilus
My patek journey started with calatrava but end up I love the nautilus the most. I like the GG design and you must see them in flesh to appreciate them.
