The estimate
It appears the watch will be getting a long overdue tune-up and I'm sure you will be pleased when it's completed.
I would suspect quite a few parts are being replaced given the estimate for the service and going forward, I would think future service costs would be less, depending of course on how it's worn. One important factor to keep in mind is the 96 is not water resistant so be careful with it, on hot days, remember perspiration can wreak havoc on the movement.
Getting a strap is no problem, I'm sure HSWA will be able to supply one for you, although you can get one without much difficulty, the measurements are 18x14.
Hope to hear good news in about 6 months.

took about 12 month. Mine was less than €1K, including a new leather strap and a buckle. Told them NOT to touch the dial and the hands. Result: PP did a great job! Good luck with yours.
