Patek Philippe

Dear all, I'm just back from the 2013 novelties cocktail organized by Patek Philippe France at the Hotel Particulier Weston close to the Iena Square. Of course, one of the objectives for the guests was to discover the new collection which was displayed in...  

I participated a similar party in London on Tuesday 2 days ago. We went with a boat sipping champagne to Greenwich and onboard Cutty Sark. Fantastic! Onboard Cutty Sark we had cocktails and snacks and the dinner was served under the keel of this beautiful...

... I felt like I saw the legendary Yeti when I saw the picture of the 5711 in platinum!

Is this 5711 1/p a new prototype watch that will be produced or was it already produced and I was asleep at the wheel? I am perplexed and wishing for one! ;-)

Is that for sale? What is the MSRP? I WANT IT!!! A 5726 1/p wouldn't be so bad either!!!!

... when you will handle the 5711P. Nautilus equal steel equal a certain weight.... With this one, multiple the weight by 10 :)... at least that's how it felt. Strongly built also feels very solid.

The place was charming, the watches were charming too and overall, the singer was absolutely charming ;-)

A wonderful exhibition at a splendid and beautiful venue. Looks like everyone had a great time and the watches are indeed outstanding! Joseph NB (for those who don't speak French: "hotel particulier" = private mansion or townhouse.)

... almost as if we were there. The platinum nautilus is amazing! What a shock, the moment you hold it, the weight strikes you as you expect something much much lighter. If you've noticed the dial has a slight different blue, nothing really noticeable but... 

Actually, I was invited to attend the press presentation the day before but sadly I had a very important meeting at the office. It is logical to not open the displays for security reasons during a cocktail. Being an insurer, I can only approve this decisi...

... Its a million time nicer!! Now thats a location that would made me want to get a nice suit on, smoke a nice cigar, drink a good single malt... And with a 5160R on my wrist! :)
