They are saying....
1) if you can't afford me, you don't deserve me. Why not....it's a legit way to price one's products to attract only the desired customer pool.
2) if you can afford me, you should be able to afford maintaining me. Why not.....it's a legit way of making sure that the once upon a time "right" customers continue to be the desired lot. If not, please buy some other brand.
3) if you can't afford me, admire those that could. Why not......the economically desirable crowd one should aspire to join.
That is just what the PRICING is telling ME...not the product, which may tell me a different story.
But hey....since the watch is not meant for me according to Patek, but for the next generation, perhaps we should ask the youngsters in our families what they think....
