Though I own the dark dial 5205G..........
In this case, I would have to vote for the 5960P 
When I was deciding whether to get a 5140, the 5960P was fairly new on the market and the pricing between the two were quite close.
Because I desired a PC more and that time I chose the 5140, but some months later, I regretted my decision and sold it.
Hindsight is such a marvellous thing and now I so wished that I had gone for the 5960P.
and now I so wished that I had gone for the 5960P. Please let us know what you finally decide.

It depends
on many issues like the price of 5960P as well as it's condition. It does not mean anything but I like much more the design of 5205G than 5960P. A manually wound chronograph is the watch which makes me exited and an automatic one is for me just a replacem...

If I could only have one I would without hesitation choose the 5960P. I have the dark dial 5205G and it is a fantastic piece but it honestly doesn't compare to the 5960P.

5960P would be my choice
And a pre loved piece have already taken the first monetary "hit", plus it's a more horologically significant piece, being a modern chrono and in platinum as well. Best, Horo

I would go with the 5205. IMHO it's a more elegant looking watch. I like the aesthetic better. On a purely investment basis then the 5960P has to win. It's more complicated....having a chrono and is Platinum. On a purely looks perspective the 5205 sings m...

I'm biased for having owned one. And it is a complication that is more practical than a combo chrono/AC. The watch is also elegantly original, with new aperture/concave bezel traits that are almost similar to the 5960P. Further, at its current price point...
