When i saw the Calatrava it brought me joy to see PP finally put better effort into matching the date dial to the main dial instead of using off-the-shelf white date dial that looks very awkward on salmon and other main dials. What also piqued my interest is if Hodinkee had an 'in' with PP as their Timex special edition also has a textured dial. I re-regulated the Timex and it is now +/-2 seconds a day, so very accurate. Have been wearing the Timex 24/7 with swimming, in the shower, etc and it has been very solid and reliable. Of course the movement is not Swiss, yet it has far exceeded my expectation for such an inexpensive timepiece.

The “copper” dial of the 5320 is something I really want to see in the metal. Good luck with the 5231G and a rare handcrafts piece. Which one are you aiming for ?

The good thing is that I will have the opportunity to see it live in 2 weeks in Paris for the opening of the exhibition there. As said i have also expressed wishes for the 5231 and as my wallet has limits ( too low) i dill have to make a choice somehow on...
