Was the Ref# 3969 Jumping Hour ever popular like the Ref# 5100 is?
It doesn't seem like the Ref# 3969 R or P (500 Pieces) was ever a very popular watch model, and I am not sure about the Ref# 5105P made in 100 examples. It seems like generally the 5100 was more popular than any of the two models mentioned, and I would also include the Ref# 5098P Gondolo Chronometro. The Ref 5102, 5101, 5959P or 3939H doesn't count since they are much much more expensive watches, and also the plain minute repeaters or the 5070 or 3878 or 3880 or 5110 world time watches. I guess you could say The Pagota Ref# 5500, but I don't think that they are a highly popular watch either.

The Patek Jump Hour is a commemorative watch that comes with a medal celebrating the 150 anniversary. It is like the PP5100 also a commemorative piece for the 3rd Millennium.Between the two my pick would be the PP5100R. The shape is unique whereas the PP3...
