Hi and thanks for your thoughts! In reality I don’t “need” any complications. Don’t even need a watch. I’m not sure any of us do if we have a phone! But of all the complications, travel time would be the least un-useful..!!

The 5134 would definitely be my pick of the 3 as it is a useful complication with a manual movement which I personally prefer to an automatic movement. But if you do want a watch with an automatic movement, you might want to consider the 5054 which to me ...  

Hi and thanks for the welcome! I have to say I agree entirely re the 5054 being undervalued. I appreciate the complications and the gorgeous hinged display back and the movement but it’s not really a watch I’d wear, just not my taste I guess. The 5134, ie... 

IMO these probably aren’t appreciating much anyhow. But if had to guess, I’d think the PT travel time has the best chance. Cal. 215 is a fine movement, though decades old. Wouldn’t dissuade me at all if I was after the 5134P. Cheers, John

As everyone said, since this is not a left brain purchase because value appreciation is not the objective here, then you should indeed buy what you like the most and feel you will wear most often. - I have been always interested in the 5035 because of the... 

Many thanks to all who’ve so helpfully offered opinions on this. It’s much appreciated. I’ve decided to go with the piece that speaks to me the loudest in terms of what I’d use and enjoy aesthetically rather than trying to crystal ball gaze future values....

It is an Interesting and fun decision you need to make ! IMO, pricing and functions aside, it comes down to the design that sings to you. The travel time has the cleanest dial, whereas the 6000 has a busy one and the annual calendar strikes a balance betw...
