If you buy the 5712 and wear it for a month or so, take care of it but then ultimately decide you don't like it, you could sell it in a heartbeat for more than retail. Mercenary, sure...but why not?

i saw 5396 EVERY AD in tokyo, and think you can buy one every time you want to, by the price lower than MSRP, at grey dealer as well. if i wonder which model i should go for, i'd choose rarer one, which would fund my future purchase. so don't be naive, ge... 

Is 5712/1A very very difficult to find too?

grey dealers buy one from owners at 30% above MSRP and sells it at 45%+. yes it's hard to buy one from AD, but there's certain amount of supply for sure so some collectors can get one easily whilst newbie can't. it's just the same story in other countries...
