Excellent critique/feedback/advice, Casey.
I used to dabble in some nature/landscape photography with my Nikon D3100 DSLR. Had the lenses, tripod and fancy flash etc etc. so I’m somewhat familiar with exposure and depth of field etc etc; just not with a smart phone. So it feels like starting from scratch, which makes it a fun challenge.
If natural light is not always available (my toddler kids take over ever daytime hour and minute of my time), are light boxes an option?
First foray into macro watch photography.

Glad to hear that my suggestions helped...and I have to say you did very well for a 1st try.
Natural light plays is a big part into these and being steady as well, echoing the masters. It helps to hold the iphone+Macro lens near, focus it then zoom in. Enjoy!
