Not that i have any extensive experience with the 2..

That idea crossed my mind, I mean the M. But I am trying to find a solution around one camera, not several. ;)

Any M camera is not really suitable for macro pictures

I have the D-Lux 109. It is a very capable camera and I think the D-Lux 7 will serve you very well.

Hi Nico. Definitely I would recommend that you test the X100V. It is a great all around camera. And it takes great macro shots. It compares well to the D-Lux 7. Happy researching! Huy

Just curious- Did you shoot the Q after converting the lens to macro mode? It’s a lever and wheel on the edge of the lens.

Yes, but I didn't have much time to play with. I will do it again, and let you know. But my first feeling is that, for " close macros ", the D Lux 7 and the CL are better.

I have to agree. I was very happy with my 4 sheets of paper composing my Borat Patent Pending system and my D Lux 6. :)))

The light conditions there are awful, indeed. And that system was " thought " for that. Now, there is no ideal solutions, indeed.

D-Lux 7 looks great...

I loved my D Lux 6 which was a huge improvement compared to the 4. But the 6 is agonizing, after a bit more than... 100, 000 photos!
