I’m on that fence myself. Full disclaimer, i have yet to use a Q but i give my 2 cents anyway.
If you’re ok with a fixed lens and your focusing eyes are not what they used to be, the Q would be the way to go.
If you value the process/experience of taking a photo that only an M can deliver and your focusing eyes are still ok, I’d go with the M.
You may lose a bit of creativity with an auto focus set up and focusing itself might misfire if you’re a fan of shooting from the hip. With an M, you can ditch manual focus and use the distance scales to approximate what you want to be in focus or out of focus.
Right now, i have a m246 and a X1D2 so i’m kind of ok.
I’ve come close to getting a q3 but the focal lengths (28 and 43) prevent me from pulling the trigger. Sure you can crop with the 28mm sensor but the process of seeing would be affected.
If they ever come up with a Q with a 35mm focal length, I might give up my hasselblad to partially fund a set up.
