Thanks Thomas. Your Points Are...

... Well taken.

When I look back on my original post(s) related to this topic I can definitely see how it may have been taken as rude - especially to those who actually own a Lamborghini. It was not meant as such.

There are only 6 homes on our private cul-de-sac and we are a very tight-nit community. Neighbors are close friends and as far as the Huracan neighbor is concerned, he's a great guy who admitted he made a big mistake buying this car. His wife didn't want him to buy it, his kids were embarrassed by it, and the rest of us just shook our heads. Truth is, this was very much out of character for this guy who admitted he is going through some kind of mid-life crisis.  The fact is the money spent on just one of these cars could build two battered women shelters, feed a thousand starving children for a year, and go a long way to helping a whole lot of kids get a good education.  For the record, I drive an Audi Allroad, and I suspect I will drive it into the ground.  I'd rather have a nice watch than a nice car, but that's just me.  I'd rather provide hot meals to homeless people. Again, that's just me. I do not judge anyone for their preference, unless it's a good friend/neighbor who absolutely deserves to have their balls broken.  End of the day, it's all in good fun and not a single one of us takes this stuff too seriously.

'Nuff said,

- Scott
