Thanks for the reference to your in-depth review....
and your fantastic photographs. Unlike you I never felt cool towards the FortyFive, thinking it a pretty hot watch right from my first impression. like a VC collector who might have both a Patrimony and an Overseas, I can see a Piaget collector wanting both an Altiplano and the PoloFortyFive. They complement one another in a collection quite beautifully.

Call me a traditionalist....
I much prefer the classic dial models, either black or silver, over the open dial FortyFive's. For the open dial look I would incline toward a Vacheron Constantin Quai de l'Ile, which I'm sure is no surprise to anyone. Bill
