The Gouverneur has sneaked onto my radar since I saw it at SIHH 2012 and actually tried one at a dinner party before Christmas.
I agree with the classical choice and, in fact, I prefer black dials for white and rose gold cases. Somehow, white / silver dials go with yellow gold cases....in my mind.
I have almost no blue dials in the collection.....er...except it is shared with the current Mrs MTF so there are blue highlights here and there. 
She has been going on at me to get her a normal-use watch with blue dial and blue strap for some time hence my intrigue with "being blue".

I like # 6, 13; but not on me...
Blue is highly prevalent because it's a universal color to match with. More subtle than red and equally appreciated.
