As far as I am concerned, the tonneau shape is part of RM identity, so I have never been a big fan of the RM016. This means I am not quite objective about your question...
Also, the RM016 and RM004 are definitely not "playing in the same league", so I am wondering about your wording "compliment my 004"... are you going to enjoy the rm016 now that you got yourself the RM004?
But I can understand that if you have a All Gray and maybe a brushed gold (RG or WG) RM, you could comtemplate the Titalyst version.

RM16 has never floated by boat at all. I think a great watch to compliment owning an RM004 is the RM28....a round chunky & definatley Richard Mille diving watch, perfect for those beach holidays etc where you dont want to take your 004. I think the 28 is ...

The main reason for the 16 is that it's not a ton-eau shape
The case really appeals to me specially when I saw Mr.Mille himself sportting one which I think was titylt and looked awsome Till now the 004 has been on my wrist for two weeks continuously (not exactly a daily beater but none the less) havnt taken it off...

Well if you like the 16...
..go for it, slim enough to be a daily wearer .. I thnk the 16 tends to polarize opinion, yoru either a fan or your not, if you are great then would be a cool daily
