Ha! Good fuel for studying
I was deep into a set of exams in 2012, about 5 weeks into studying when I started receiving pictures of a Dato Perpetual and Pt Zeitwerk from my dad who was taking a trip to San Francisco and wanted to bug me.
Stay strong, the sweetness of strapping one on for yourself will be worth it. Hope it all goes well.

My dad's friend is a collector and when he realized that I'm a watch nerd he invited me over to see his watches, he just got this piece and I'm hoping to see it when I return home from college and get some macro shots to share. Best, Austin

I backed my brand new car into a brick column, two weeks after I bought it, so a chunk of my watch fund has been compromised. :-( I'll have "something cool" soon, but not "very soon." ;-)
