A good question..
I've been looking at it off and on and I think I know why it's not on my wish list.
Some of the styling cues feel dated like that bezel in a 90s or 80s sort of way. Proportions seem to be a bit thin visually. I'd go with a standard JLC master control moonphase any day. As the others have said, lots of moonphase choices out there for the money. Worse, lots of choices out there moonphase or not period.

I'm assuming that once the full moon is pointed to with the arrow that it is a full moon, half moon is somewhere in between and no moon is the blank circle indicator on the moon phase. Hope that helped.

Very handsome and incredible details but Rolex is much named with other popular models(20-30 models).So when it comes to Cellini comparison is with the giants like Lange,Patek.
