Agree that the gilt theme would be something pretty cool to follow. Also something that attracts me to the 6610 is the balanced dial and lack of a date, since I hate adjusting the non quickset..
The 1655 though offers spice and variety to what I have, and its look is so unique and decidedly retro, which is very appealing in itself!

Or you are in a gilt theme, then 6610 will do it better, or you are in a crownguards theme will lead you to favor the 1655, more modern. You can't go wrong with either one these. I would rather consider the 6610 if you owned a 6542 and a 6536 / 5508. Best...

I agree, and you have the same case than the 1675 and the Sub.

gilt explorer Even if not from the same period, il would remain in the gilt era Plus it brings a more Classic oyster case without crownguard and bezel The best trio imho For me the 1655 would be better with a 1680 or 1665
