New release today. Any thoughts? I have been waiting for this size in the pelagos but never thought they would downsize as it would compete directly with the BB58. The square lume and snowflake hands work so well design wise and call back to the original ...  

... the rehaut will be missed and I prefer the design of the BB58 overall.

I think the rose makes more sense on the old Tudor sub. And the shield with the snowflake. Credit unknown Credit unknown ...

I'm a little perturbed that Tudor did not release a blue version at the same time. We all know it's coming but I'm annoyed by this type of slow play releases. As for the watch itself, I do wish the date remained as the North Flag at 40mm could still squee... 

Maybe a date version is also possible down the line

Personally I prefer the stainless steel blue BB58

No doubt, the favoured watch size is 40mm, so many find the 42mm current Pelagos too big. For me, it's perfect, but this will be very popular. Question is, will they discontinue the 42mm - who knows...

They can afford to cover the entire spectrum of wrists!

I thought I was satisfied with my one Pelagos (the FXD), but it looks like it's gonna have to be two Pelagii for me!

To be honest I believe watch brands omit certain things so that no watch will ever be 💯 %. That way we can never be totally satisfied 🤓

I think will wait till the hype comes down first.

on the website I really like how the watch looks on the black rubber strap too. Looking forward to seeing it IRL

Wonder if the lack of a domed crystal will make it look more modern.

Grade 2 titanium is soft as my 4 yo son's foot It will mark pretty quick. Some would argue it will quickly look right as a toolwatch. So, it looks kind of a newish 14060m in the pictures. Only time will tell. Maybe the brushed finish will play differently... 

I hope they offer this with and without date and with your choice of dial and bezel colors (black, blue, green, burgundy). There are relatively few versions of the Pelagos compared to the Black Bay. Iterations of the 39 should be well received.

After sales of the rolex gmt, bb gmt, bb pro start to plateau/fall off. 😅

Solidly built and smartly put together. The only downside is the thickness due to the movement. But as soon as it is on the wrist the thickness could be easily ignored with the compact lug to lug size across the wrist and that interesting dial configurati...  

It is hard to consider the one you posted... ...  

Would be fun to own both. Otherwise, the Pelagos 39 really does sound like an interesting option. Best Gatsby

I wonder if Rolex might make something in titanium soon. In any case, I’m terribly impressed with the choice of metal here, and the strap options — what more can one ask for in a sports watch? Light weight, no date on the dial, red Pelagos text and a nice...
