... I feel that the aging effect on GMT bezels adds to the charm of these old watches. Some colors are just amazing, and make for the strong character of a vintage GMT, even in common dials, and of course, much more if the dial got nicely aged indexes or some other special feature.
Your own watch is an amazing example indeed.
May I show own favorite?
I call it my "Fuchsia GMT": It is a 1961 cornino, gloss and gilt, exclamation dot, and its bezel got an awesome color shift, to purple or fuchsia with a nicely faded blue.
