Rolex

Presenting my new (to me) Rolex Explorer ref. 14270 which arrived just yesterday. It is an X series which means it's manufactured in my birth year (1991) and also comes complete with box, papers and hang tags. The case condition isn't perfect but the trit...

Its an elegant tool watch. The patinas great , gives the watch a vintage feel. Only a true lover of fine asthetics can observe it. Cheers Geross

The patina was what initially drew me to this piece. To an outsider, this might not draw the same amount of attention compared to other more 'bling' options from Rolex, but those in the watch lovers community can appreciate how special this example is.

I'm looking forward to many more years with this piece, and seeing how beautifully it will age in time to come.

A real under the radar watch that only real fans will appreciate and understand the points to love. Of course, being made in your birth year is the icing on the cake! Superb!
