I am really disappointed in the trend of most watch makers today and in particular Rolex, as I write this I am wearing my Sea Dweller and it appeals to me so much more than these latest offerings.
The increase in case sizes bewilders me, is it that we are getting too fat, or is it just fashion? For so many years Rolex was above the fray, not giving into "fashion" and creating a niche for themselves
unrivaled in the industry. Now, they have created these new cases that are nothing more than hunks of metal, lost are the sensual curves of the lugs, now just blocks of metal with no shape.
The result is the bracelet does not flow from the case as in the older designs, a far less successful appearance, they do not look like they belong together!
I suppose I will have to keep my Sea Dweller forever, because I find these new models so unappealing!

No Date Submariner
No Date Sub gets a Ceramic Bezel, Glidelock Clasp and Chromalight Lume...
The most appealing offer from this year collection. IMO.
Even if I would have preferred slender lugs.... And / or a larger bracelet. Best, Nicolas

Now I am torn between the new Explorer II and this! I love the white faced Explorer II but I have always wanted a ND Sub! The Sky Dweller should have been a tool watch with an annual calendar function.
Wait, I found the clear winner for me, this year... The new Yachtmaster.

Hermano, have you noticed that...
this new case would benefit from old school chamfering (bevels)??? It would make the lugs look finer. If Tudor is doing it, why souldn't mother hen (rolex) do it? Saludos amigo mío. René

They shouldn't have discontinued it. Better, they should have updated it with a saphire domed crystal like that on the Tudor Black Bay! I think they would sell tons of it Best regards. René

Honestly I like bevels but this case with no date is sharp. I have been considering a C sub for a while. Depends on when they make it to store shelves. I don't have much patience and don't want to pay a premium.

every AD still has a couple of these in stock. Now is the time. I buy watches to wear, but in this case, Im keeping the manufacturer's stickers on until 2053.
