The result is a beautiful watch with charming patina.
One of my colleagues lost his deep sea last week in the harbour due to a defect bracelet tube, hired a diver and found the watch at the vertical of the falling point in 20 cms mud but it did not need any restoration being a year old.
Now he wears it with a Nato strap.

Today I nearly lost one of my Rolex's..........
Today I was close to lost my beater because the bracelet fell in two parts. When I look at the watch I suppose it's time fore some cleaning of my beter. LOL So I start to pull off the bracelet I guess a cleaning will be in place. So I have to open it up. ...

that is by far the dirtiest watch i have ever seen or i can ever imagine!! what do you do for a living to get your watch into such shocking stage of wear and "soiled"?? - now i know i must be crazy to wash my watch almost everyday.. and those bezel's cond...

it's amazing how easy it was for u ....
to revive the watch. i'd never be able to do it without sending it to the watch maker, else the watch will end up in the junkyard. i must add that the blue dial looks brilliant without the glass, was the dial colour photo-shopped?
