Rolex

Gone since a few years: one of only two Rolex I ever owned, this GMT Master "Gilt Dial" ref. 1675 from 1966 was a nice one.

 

I still have (one of the earliest) Explorer ref. 1655 which is a keeper.

I owned mine for 50+ years and wore it every day for 25+ yrs. Sold it 4-5 .years ago. Box, papers, purchase receipt, service receipts.....A joy to wear and a workhorse.......

A damn beauty, this GMT MASTER and its incredible dial. Very deep, glossy, with a charming patina. I am sorry to say but it is a keeper as well as your 1655.
