I'd be shocked...

 

I would imagine that Federer would get a lot more money.  I imagine that Nadal and Massa both get more money for their contracts, but now I'm thinking maybe they don't...  Maybe they get far less than what we think and they're just huge supporters of the brands of watches they wear (in this case, they're Richard Mille watches).  


Plus, with all the advertising that Rolex does with them, there really is a benefit to the athlete, as we now see Federer's picture in many Rolex advertisements in various magazines and thus making him a household name.  

The publicity that is provided by Rolex is tremendously valuable.  

I can believe it!  

On the other hand, I'm not usually enthralled by celebrity endorsed products, so it means relatively little to me.  But I always assumed celebrities are paid much more, and now with this new information (assuming it's accurate) I can see why they are not paid as much as we previously thought.
