I don't associate Rolex as a millionaires watch.
But more of an accomplishment watch. You've worked hard to get to point x and it's a good watch to buy and celebrate and wear for the rest of your life type watch. I feel that a lot of Rolex collectors aren't like us they are not acquiring several of them, but rather one or two and that's it. But if the world population is around 8 billion people and Rolex is what the general population associates with success. Yes there will inevitably be a low supply do to high demand.

Rolex makes some of the best (if not the best) watch for the price (MSRP). You don't need to be a millionaire to buy one. The supply gets caught up by dealers, including authorized dealers, who hoard them and sell them on the grey market. Everyone rags on...
