I think if Rolex would make all Sub/SD dials this type of matt and the ceramic inserts this type of matt (like in this model), it would break the watch industry (and their supply chain even further :-) )

I really like the matte dial as well. It’s also interesting that it’s only 1 mm larger than the current Submariner, but it feels slightly larger than that. Best regards, Steve

The only other modern Rolex that I know of
with matte dial was the SD4k model. Model 116600.
