In that case a Glossy gilt dial is the correct dial
So this is not a correct configuration. So if you are still interested bid accordingly knowing that the price of a correct configuration is worth 50% more that the wrong configuration. To put it another way the dial and hands are worth at least 50% of the market value of correctly original configuration.

Could any of the Rolex experts kindly answer the following. Is it possible to have a genuine original 1962 Sub 5513 with a matt dial and feet first? Would this indicate that the dial has been changed? Many thanks. Paul.

The 5513 was only released in 1962, so this is from the very first year of release. Those models were fitted with a gilt dial. From 1962 through to about 1964/65 it was gilt dials with "swiss" only. With Rolex one needs a lot of humility when it comes to ...
