Rolex

Attached are few photos of my GMT Master I. This was a wedding present from my Mom to my Dad in late 1972 / early 1973. I recently had it serviced directly from Rolex, and it works perfectly. The dial is original. Think the bezel might have been replaced....  

Not only it comes from your mother, who gave it to your father, then to you, but also the GMT is a mythic watch, as well as its Submariner Sister. Your watch looks all original, not polished ( from what I see ) and superb. If you want to know the approxia... 

Hang on to it for dear life, for sentimental value alone. Look up the history of the GMT, it's a Rolex classic! Yours looks very original and in superb condition.

Unless you are in need of urgent money, there is no reason to sell this. Keep it as a family heirloom and make sure the next generation appreciates it. Service it regularly (5 - 7 years). Do not engrave it. Be aware that the crystal can scratch as it is n... 

I just keep reading about how well Rolex holds value, and wanted to know where this piece fits in, and if this is a seminal Rolex or not.. Just out of pure curiosity, how much would this piece be "worth" today? Just out of curiosity...I am not into sellin...

Something that you should wear and keep for the next generation. the hands look new but it's ok if they are genuine Rolex hands.
