I have a bottle of wine that's my birth year, but I don't have a watch that's my birth year... You just pointed out something that I don't have that I probably am now thinking if I want/need. Happy new year!

.....i think there is such a rich vein of watches from Rolex from this date, you are almost spoilt for choice. Is there any specific reference that grabs your attention? Submariner? Sea-Dweller? GMT? Explorer? Milgauss? So many fabulous vintage versions o... 

With the matte dials, you will save a lot. There are some very interesting watches to get: 1675 MK 1 matte dial, 5512 / 13, 1016... If you want to go to the hyped models, then you will have the Seadwellers, MK II with brown dial ( 68, Joe? ). Daytonas, to... 

What a nice birth year Rolex you got... There's not many great option on my birth year Rolex.. But I think I know what I'd love to have Hope all is well my friend Sam
