At which point it was replaced with another Rolex. Unfortunately the vintage bug in 08 lead me to a trade for a Tudor 7924 big crown.
Oh well the first one is a keeper and still running strong only serviced once on 2000.

I am lucky enough to still have my very first Rolex...a GMT 16710. Ironically, the last modern Rolex I bought was also a GMT...the 116710. A neat symmetry here...and essentially 10 years between the purchases. So often, we let our first Rolex go...I did.....
Hardly wear it anymore
